Chad was kind, giving, and tender-hearted. He was always the first person to volunteer to help a family member or friend.

Chad loved life. His laugh could melt your heart. His hugs made you feel loved and safe.

It is with deep sadness

that the family of Chad William Parsons announces his sudden passing after a brief illness, on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the young age of 42 years.

Chad will forever be remembered and missed by his wife and best friend Cheryl Parsons, and their precious children, Cherish Parsons and Chaz Parsons; and by his mother Tina Najarian (stepfather, Martin); his father, Brett Parsons; his brother John (wife, Irina) Parsons, his paternal grandmother, Ann Parsons.

Chad will also be forever remembered by his mother-in-law, Virginia Donaldson, brothers- and sisters-in-law, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Chad was born on November 7, 1977, in Fresno, California, and grew up in Madera Ranchos.

Growing up he loved exploring new fishing holes with his grandfather, Jesse Fox, and brother, John, and spending time with them deep sea fishing.

Chad loved athletics, and while he was in school, he participated in baseball, football, and wrestling. He loved to play pool and was highly skilled on the table.

Chad and Cheryl knew each other since the late 90’s. They began their relationship in the early 2000’s and in 2002 they welcomed their daughter Cherish into their family. Chad married his best friend and love of his life, Cheryl, in 2006. That same year, Chad was hired by Offshore Systems Inc. and relocated his family to Unalaska, Alaska. In 2007 Chad and Cheryl welcomed their son Chaz to the family.

Chad and his family enjoyed the beauty of Alaska and loved being outside, fishing, camping, and shooting their guns.

There were many bonfires with friends gathering around the fire to roast hot dogs and make s’mores. Living in a small community they had many good friends. They enjoyed dressing up for the Halloween parties. Chad and Cheryl lived life fully!

In 2018 they bought a home in Idaho, with plenty of room for family and friends and a pool table. The entire family was excited for the new opportunities and adventures the mainland could provide. Chad was a devoted provider to his family, working long days for long stretches of time so he could enjoy spending “family” time with them in Idaho.

Chad’s greatest joy was spending time with his wife and children. They enjoyed exploring Idaho, going to the water parks, walking their dogs, and planning their next adventures.

Chad and Cheryl visited the Bahamas twice, and the whole family had special, fun-filled trips to Florida and Hawaii.
